Cappin Lore (WIP)

No one knows where and when the first Cappin formed. All we know is that they're formed from... abandoned hats. Ever wonder where your old hat you threw in your closet ages ago went? Well now you know! Many people believe Cappins are souls of deceased children who inhabit hats that matched their personality when they were still alive. With unknown magic, the hats become sentient and grow.... legs? And wings? And a poncho that's.. attached to its body??? It's still a mystery to everyone on how this actually happens. Cappins live eternally, as they're not living.. nor dead. Who knows what these fellas really are, but one thing is for sure is that they're darn adorable!

All Cappins are usually about 2 feet tall. Their personalities are sweet, clumsy, and carefree. Cappins are also genderless, but usually they assign themselves pronouns. They are unable to speak, so instead they make a bunch of little happyish noises (they like saying "woohoo" and "weehee" a lot) and use gestures to communicate. It's also pretty rare to see a Cappin not happy. They have no worries in the world, or so we believe. There's not much else known about Cappins, but maybe in the future more info will be unveiled?
